Draft of our film review

Here is an example of our film review...

"Ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time? Caught up in a mixed up situation? Well you are about to find out what happens when you put dim and dumb together!
From the director of Bridget Jones's diary, Sharon Maguire has done it once again, by coming up with the hilarious new family comedy “Twister!”
Its the Summers must see new family comedy, you are sure to have a bunch of laughs throughout the film. With an ever changing plot it will keep the family entertained for ages.
Starring up-coming actors April Bright, Charlotte Barton and the Grammy award winning actor Korri-Singh-Aulakh. The film has already been nominated for three Oscars this year. The Sun gave the film 5 stars for outstanding performances by the cast.
“Highly Entertaining” - The Sun
"5 Star family comedy” - Says Heat Magazine
“Must see film of the year!!” - The Times
“Side-splittingly funny” - OK Magazine
Annie (April Bright) and Lola (Charlotte Barton) playing the comedic roles of two dim detectives, who controversially find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, whilst Aaron (Korri-Singh-Aulakh) also gets caught up in the action. With the misplacement of a valid object things go from bad to worse for Annie and Lola, and whilst trying to return the object, both characters find themselves dealing with out of the ordinary situations. Watch in amazement as both characters come up with “good” ideas only for them to end up in disaster!
Viewers are saying the film is good value for money, and an enjoyable film to watch with the family.

What we did....

Once we got our task...to film a mini film clip of about 1 minute, we then had to decide what genre we wanted to go into and what task did we want to choose from out of the four that we got given. In the end we choose to do "the chase" as we belived this to be the easiest and we were able to go into a variety of directions with this task. We decided to do a action/comedy as when we did some research we learnt that the majority of chase films are either based in the genre of action or comedy so we decided to combine the two together!
When producing our film we had to draw a storyboard which would later be "animated" after that we had to film our short clip and choose a soundtrack to go with this.
When filiming our short film clip, we shot a variety of different sequences at different cmera angles and different places, to was to see what lighting was best and worked angles worked best at which places.
Once we had all the video we needed we edited the film together and used which clips we thought was appropriate. We also added in a soundtrack we thought would go along with the film the best.
We chose to do our film as a film trailer and to make it seem more professional we did a film review to help explain the storyline.
Our photos were taken at the scene of the place, this is to make it seem like we have taken the shots from the film clip, but to make it easier for ourselves once we done our filming we went back to our place of filming and took the pictures we thought we look best. We did our film with Korri as we was promoting him as our main charcater and myself and charlotte were seen as upcoming stars.

Storyline

Our video is based upon 2 detectives, (April and Charlotte - who are slightly "dim") who are trying to retrieve a very important object, but end up on a wild goose chase which leads them all over the place whilst searching for the object and attempting to "kill" Korri (who is supposedly the "bad guy" but with the juggling of the object both characters are seen in the firing-line!) Howvere with a twist plot ending we believe our story to keep viewers wanting more!
